The cost of doing nothing

The cost of doing nothing

Luke 14: 28-33, Jesus says before you build a house count the cost. He goes on to explain that the builder does not want to get in the middle of his project and run out of money. Now the whole world knows that you were a poor planner, did not count the cost and ran out of supplies.

The thrill of victory, the agony of reality

Why do we watch sports?

I watch sports because it is not real life, and like fairy tales the endings can change.

One of the main reasons the NFL is the best product on television is they always have great products to sell. Last night I sat and watched a game in which the Patriots were not even playing. It didn’t matter, the performance by Michael Vick was amazing and eye candy for any true football fan.

Often I have thought that if I had but one wish in life it would be to know when I'm happy while I'm happy. One moment we're sitting in a chair with the comforts of home until a phone interrupts the moment. We grab our keys and rush to the hospital having just learned a loved one had been hurt.
