LOL. Actually I don't mind, although, trying to explain a cartoon is like trying to explain a joke. Unlike a column, a cartoonist has one shot at making a point and I don't always do that. In a way there's a mystery to what I do because I try and leave some things for people who really get it. If I have to put a name on the subject or go overboard making it obvious to readers then I think I fail or take the fun out of the process.

Take the cartoon today on Mosi. Perfect example, if you are not familiar with this guy and how he ran in the snow then the cartoon would make no sense to you at all

I will be starting a comic strip soon, "The fan!" so stay tuned.

Don’t indulge this bozo, Larry. A great artist never has to explain his work. Two words: more recliner guy!!!!!! God bless.

I understand that. One of the fun things about doing cartoons is: Don't let the facts get in the way of a good cartoon. Just the thought of Manny coming back reminds me of the movie, "What about Bob."

Thanks for your interest. Tough cartoon to do today on Mosi. I was with him a couple of weeks ago at a Super Bowl party...man could he run in the snow.

Thanks for responding, Larry.

However, Manny is a free agent at the end of the year. McCourt doesn't have to put up with him at all after 2010, unless he believes Manny's production is worth paying for.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the Rays' cartoon.

The Manny cartoon is very simple: McCord is being sued by his wife for a $1 million dollars a month alimony. That's good news when compared to the fact that Manny changed his mind and McCord will have to put up with him for possibly three more years.

Thanks for asking.

The cartoon was done a year ago after the Tampa Bay Sting Rays beat the Sox. You could say they stung the Sox in the butt.

I don't get it.
